Ranchi University

Ranchi University is a public educational institute located in Ranchi, India. Established in 1960, the university is involved in the education, higher education, and university sectors. Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences is a subsidiary of Ranchi University.

The university is affiliated with the Association of Indian Universities and the Medical Council of India. Furthermore, it holds accreditation from the Bar Council of India and the University Grants Commission of India. Ranchi University's motto is "May our knowledge become brilliant".

In addition to its English name, Ranchi University is also known by its alias रांची विश्वविद्यालय.
