Ram Dass

Ram Dass , born Richard Alpert on April 6, 1931, was an American psychologist, writer, and spiritual teacher. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and held citizenship in the United States. Ram Dass was educated at several institutions, including Wesleyan University, Stanford University, Tufts University, and the Williston Northampton School. He later resided in Hawaii.

Ram Dass was known for his work in psychology and as a writer. He also took on the role of a spiritual guru, earning the nickname "Baba Ram Dass". Ram Dass passed away on December 22, 2019, in Maui, Hawaii.
