Raj Reddy

Raj Reddy is a computer scientist born on June 13, 1937, in Andhra Pradesh, which was part of the British Raj at the time. He holds citizenship of the United States, India, and the British Raj. Reddy was educated at Stanford University and is known for contributing to the field of computer science.

He was a doctoral student of John McCarthy, a prominent computer scientist. Throughout his career, Reddy has advised several notable doctoral students, such as Kai-Fu Lee, Harry Shum, and James Gosling.
