Founded in 1946 by Murray Fisher and Bernie Bernbaum, PEI remains a family-owned company, was founded on friendship and family values and that spirit of friendship and collaboration still permits the company today.
In 1952, PEI-Genesis became a franchised distributor for ITT Cannon.
In 1980, Fisher’s son Steven became the company’s new CEO.
In 2000, PEI-Genesis became a franchised connector distributor for Amphenol and opened its UK headquarters and assembly facility.
In 2015, PEI-Genesis opened its first Asian production facility in Zhuhai, China.
In 2016, the company acquired FilConn, Inc. of Arizona.
In 2018, PEI expands to the Indian market.
