PCBL Limited is a carbon black manufacturer in India. The company is a part of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, which was established by K. P. Goenka in 1960. PCBL began production at Durgapur with a production capacity of 14,000 MT per annum.
In 2020, PCBL celebrated its diamond jubilee in the carbon black industry, and a production capacity of 6,86,000 MT per annum, generating 110 MW per hour of green power. The carbon black manufacturer has a customer base in over forty-five countries.
PCBL's plants are located in Durgapur (West Bengal), Palej (Gujarat), Mundra (Gujarat), and Kochi (Kerala). The company also set up R&D centers at Palej (Gujarat) and Ghislenghien (Belgium). In 2023, the company commissioned its fifth plant in Chennai (Tamil Nadu).
In November 2023, PCBL Ltd unveiled plans to acquire specialty chemicals firm Aquapharm Chemicals for about $456 million to diversify its portfolio.
