Moscow State Linguistic University (MSLU) is a Russia-based organization within the field of higher education. The focus of the university is language and culture studies, particularly topics related to the Commonwealth of Independent States.
MSLU is a linguistic-focused university that teaches thirty-six languages. There are several different types of programs offered, including four-year Bachelor's degree programs, two-year Master's degree programs, and Doctoral programs. Researchers at MSLU study a variety of topics, such as speech studies, cognitive linguistics, and methodology of foreign language teaching.Through the university, researchers annually publish approximately 200 research monographs, manuals, and textbooks for various levels of education in Russia. Academics and researchers from MSLU have also developed teaching and research tools such as Lingua, Glossa, and Spectrum 121.
