Mindfire

Mindfire is a Swiss-based nonprofit organization working to solve AI challenges in business and science. The organization's network includes expertise from fields such as computer science, mathematics, physics, neuroscience, and robotics. Mindfire was established in 2017 by technology entrepreneur Pascal Kaufmann with the goal of developing human-level AI.

In May 2018, the foundation gathered individuals and experts from around the world in Davos, Switzerland for Mindfire Mission-1, leading to the creation of the Mindfire Platform. The platform aims to make research scalable and give everyone the chance to work on challenges in neuroscience and AI. The foundation commissions "AI-related Quests" on the Mindfire Platform.

Mindfire aims to bring people together to generate new ideas in AI and solve AI challenges. Businesses or scientific institutions submit quests to Mindfire, and members of the Mindfire network form teams and apply to solve the quest. Mindfire provides a platform for talented individuals to collaborate and solve AI-related challenges together with all participants rewarded according to their contribution.

The foundation is aiming to become "the world's AI department". Businesses can get in touch with Mindfire to discuss their current challenges and seek guidance for creating and publicizing quests on the platform.

Mindfire also runs the "Mindfire Inspire Series," a series of short presentations held by various speakers to further the understanding and creation of AI.
