Michael Douglas

Michael Douglas, born on September 25, 1944, is an American actor, film producer, and screenwriter. He was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey and is a citizen of the United States. Douglas is the son of legendary actor Kirk Douglas and Diana Douglas.

Michael Douglas attended several educational institutions, including Eaglebrook School, Allen-Stevenson School, Choate Rosemary Hall, and finally the University of California, Santa Barbara.

In the field of cinematography, Douglas founded Further Films, where he also serves as the owner. Throughout his career, Douglas has received numerous prestigious film awards, including the Golden Globes, USA, Primetime Emmy Award, and AARP Movies for Grownups Awards. He has also been inducted into the illustrious Walk of Fame. Douglas's accomplishments span various international film festivals and award ceremonies such as San Sebastián International Film Festival and Zurich Film Festival.

Michael Douglas is the father of Cameron Douglas. As a producer, he is credited with the creation of iconic films like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) and Flatliners.
