Douglas was the owner of Bryna Productions and appeared in numerous films throughout his career, often associated with the Western and Neo soul genres. Some of his notable works include "Paths of Glory" and "Lust for Life".

Kirk Douglas was the father of four children: Michael Douglas, Eric Douglas, Joel Douglas, and Peter Douglas. He passed away on February 5, 2020, in Beverly Hills, California.
