COVID-19

With the outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus), MassRobotics has turned their focus the problem facing hospitals which is a lack of ventilators. In MassRobotics' community, FloraBot and Watertower Robotics have launched The Ventilator Project. Their prototypes are designed to cost between $1000-$2000 to produce. If their design is approved they expect to produce 1,000 ventilators in the first month.

The project is expecting over 100 volunteers on the team, and will utilize space found in a 40,000-square-foot facility in order to provide room for physical distancing.
