In December 2018, the Magnit retail chain closed the acquisition of SIA Group, one of the five largest pharmaceutical distributors in Russia. The purchase of SIA allows Magnit to build efficient logistics for the chain of pharmacies and provides synergy with the format of drogerie stores.
Magnit Pharma is a distributor of pharmaceutical products, acting as an intermediary between foreign and domestic manufacturers, suppliers and retail market participants throughout the Russian Federation. This became possible thanks to a developed network of regional offices.
