Lezzoo is a mobile service that focuses on with solving the problems of payments and mapping in addition to scaling its delivery network. Founded 2017 in Erbil, Arbil, Iraq by Ala Battal, Rekar Botany and Yadgar Merani, the company delivers food, beverages, groceries and pharmaceuticals to users in Iraq that offers on-demand delivery services. The company wants to build the “super-app of the Middle East,” starting with an on-demand delivery service in Iraq. On August 19, 2019, Y Combinator invested in the seed round of Lezzoo. The amount invested was valued at $150K. Y Combinator is a startup accelerator in Mountain View, California that invests in a large number of startups twice a year.
