Laura Tyson

Laura Tyson , born on June 28, 1947, in Bayonne, New Jersey , is an American economist and politician . She is also known as Laura D’Andrea Tyson . Tyson holds citizenship in the United States and is currently located in Berkeley, California .

Tyson received her education at Smith College , Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) , and Princeton University . Her doctoral advisor at MIT was Evsey Domar , and one of her doctoral students, Lans Bovenberg, has also made a name for himself in the field .
