KeyCrime

KeyCrime is a developer of data analytics software to support police officers and law enforcement agencies in the process of conclusive reasoning and decision making. This is done through a consideration of available detailed criminal event data to establish crime series and discover patterns through location and time data. KeyCrime was founded in 2018 by former Italian State Police officer Mario Venturi after a thirty-one-year career in law enforcement. Mario Venturi's experience in law enforcement and his interest in supporting police organizations led to his founding of KeyCrime and the company's delia platform.

KeyCrime's delia is a crime analysis software for decision support for the efforts of police departments. The software uses an analytical approach that is typically used by the investigators to augment their efforts through the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques. The software has been in use in a long-running experiment by the Italian State Police across the greater Milan area, with the results subjected to a study by the Essex University Department of Economics.
