John Perry Barlow

John Perry Barlow was born on October 3, 1947, in Cora, Wyoming, and passed away on February 7, 2018, in San Francisco. He held various occupations, including poet, songwriter, and lyricist. Barlow was a citizen of the United States and pursued his education at institutions such as Wesleyan University and Fountain Valley School of Colorado.

Barlow founded the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the Freedom of the Press Foundation. He was also known for his notable work, "A Declaration of the Independence of Cyberspace".
