John Galen Howard (born August 5, 1864, died July 18, 1931) was an American architect from Chelmsford, Massachusetts. He was educated at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Throughout his career, Howard was involved in the design of various buildings and is known as the creator of Meany Hall for the Performing Arts. Having had a successful career, John Galen Howard passed away in San Francisco on July 18, 1931.
