James Freeman Clarke

James Freeman Clarke (born April 4, 1810, in Hanover, New Hampshire) was an American writer and author known for his works on various subjects. Clarke held United States citizenship and was educated at Harvard College, Harvard Divinity School, and Harvard University. His mother was Rebecca Hull.

Clarke passed away on June 8, 1888, in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. As a person who contributed to literature and writing, James Freeman Clarke's life and works hold a place in the history of American authors.
