Dr. Jacob Crasta is an Indian entrepreneur, speaker, founder and Chairman of CM Envirosystems Pvt. Ltd. (CME), an environmental test chamber manufacturing company.
Early life
Crasta was born in 1951 to Baptist and Sabina Crasta near Kinnigoli in Mangaluru. He completed his post graduation in Organic Chemistry from the University of Mysore in 1974.
Career
Crasta began his career as a lecturer. Subsequently, he worked as a Senior Sales Executive in Mumbai. In 1981, he founded CM Equipment & Instruments (India) to manufacture laboratory equipment for research & development and quality control laboratories.
