Howard K. Smith

Howard K. Smith (12 May 1914 – 15 February 2002) was a United States citizen born in Ferriday, Louisiana. He passed away in Bethesda, Maryland. Smith had a diverse career as a war correspondent, actor, television presenter, journalist, and news presenter.

He was educated at several institutions, including Alcee Fortier High School, Tulane University, Merton College, Oxford, and Heidelberg University, before embarking on his professional career.
