Hippo Labs

Hippo Labs is an aggregation mechanism leveraging a front end, which offers users direct access to pricing and lending rates across different DEXs and money markets. The lab is building a trade aggregator that allows users to find trading rates in various DEXs in the Aptos ecosystem.

They also plan to interlink DEXs so users can have access to multiple trading rates in the Aptos ecosystem. Hippo Labs has built, tested, and deployed different swap implementations to devnet. Its Github repo includes the following: Constant-product swap, Stable-curve swap, and Piecewise constant-product swap. Piecewise constant-product swap (PSwap), is an optimization of the original Curve Finance swap. It can be extended to support non-pegged trading pairs.

Aided by oracles, it can act as the basis for automated concentrated liquidity. Hippo Labs went into a partnership integration with PancakeSwap, a decentralized exchange (DEX) for DeFi-related things. The integration with PancakeSwap will allow users to find desired prices for trading pairs that are available on PancakeSwap Aptos via the Hippo platform.
