Henry Chapman Mercer (1856-1930) was an American writer, curator, and founder of Moravian Pottery and Tile Works. He was born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and held citizenship in the United States. Mercer was educated at both Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
During his career, Mercer worked as a writer and curator. His writing spanned across genres, ranging from non-fiction to paranormal fiction. One of his notable works includes contributions to the Pennsylvania State Capitol. In 1930, Mercer passed away in the town of his birth, Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
