Harold Arlen

Harold Arlen (born Hyman Arluck, February 15, 1905 - April 23, 1986) was an American composer, songwriter, film producer, pianist, singer, music arranger, and film score composer. He was born in Buffalo, New York, and grew up in the United States. Arlen attended Hutchinson Central Technical High School in Buffalo as part of his education.

He was known for using the pseudonyms Harold Arlen and Harold Arluck. Throughout his career, Arlen's work often involved the genre of jazz music.

Harold Arlen passed away on April 23, 1986, in New York City. He received numerous accolades during his lifetime, including the prestigious Grammy Trustees Award.
