HUVRData is a technology company making enterprise asset management software that is headquartered in Austin, Texas and was founded in 2014 by Bob Baughman and ben Williams. The companies software is made to help asset owners improve a companies digital maintenance and inspection of their assets. HUVRData uses drone inspections and cloud computing services to create and analyze data for industries such as wind, solar, oil, gas, and agriculture.
On August 26, 2015 HUVRData completed their series A funding round with $2 million in funding from Houston Angel Network, Texas HALO fund and Central Texas Angel Network. The co-founder of HUVRData, Bob Baughman, made the following statement to reporters regarding the companies series A funding round:
Our wind farm inspection packages provide wind farm owners actionable data that can save significant operating expenses and provide this in a way that is much more efficient and cost effective than conventional methods. The investor response was so positive we raised more than we planned to enable more investors to be involved with HUVR now, which will allow us to expand even more aggressively.
