George Stevens

George Stevens (born George Cooper Stevens) was an American film director, film producer, cinematographer, and screenwriter. Born on December 18, 1904, in Oakland, California, he held citizenship in the United States.

Stevens directed films such as Swing Time, Kentucky Kernels, and Something to Live For. He also had a notable work, The Nazi Plan. Throughout his career, Stevens was recognized with awards, including the Academy Award for Best Director.

George Stevens died on March 8, 1975, in Lancaster, California. He had one child, George Stevens Jr..
