Gellert Global Group consists of a variety of North American food importing companies. The group is a large food importer in the United States and comprises eleven individual companies focused on supplying the needs of customers in different facets of the food industry, not excluding manufacturers, retailers, food service distributors, hotels, restaurant chains, cruise lines, and food manufacturers.
In 1945, the group started as a sole company called Atalanta Corporation, founded by Leon Rubin for the importing of Polish ham products. The Gellert Global Group now imports about 6,000 different food items from supply partners in about sixty countries around the world.
On the 15th of May 2015, the group announced the opening of a 204,000-square-foot warehouse in Carson, California. The complex, Gellert Global Group West, includes storage for about 10,000 pallet positions. There are three temperature-controlled zones, including a 65-degree chocolate room for Swiss Chalet that takes about 2,100 pallet positions, a 34-degree room with 2,200 pallet positions, and a -5 degree freezer with 246 pallet positions. The building also has a test kitchen, training room, and a custom bonded storage area. It is managed by West Logistics.

- Atalanta Corporation: Established in 1945, Atalanta Corporation is a privately held food importer in the US They deliver meats, cheeses, groceries, and frozen seafood to retailers, food service operators, major restaurant chains, and manufacturers nationwide.
- Camerican International, Inc.: In 2016, the company celebrated 100 years in the global sourcing business. Camerican deals in canned and frozen fruits, vegetables, seafood, and specialty items from about forty countries worldwide, working with about 140 suppliers.
- JF Braun: Launched in 1945, J.F. Braun supplies shelled nuts, dried fruits, and snack items to the nut salting, confectionery, and baking trades. Products include cashew nuts, Brazil nuts, hazelnuts, pine nuts, raisins, coconut, banana chips, and tropical fruit.
- Tipico Products Co, Inc.: The company provides retail, food service, and industrial customers with imported and domestic cheeses, alongside different processing services performed in its plant.
- Finica Food Specialties, Ltd.: Finica joined the Gellert Global Group in 1995 and shifted its business from German specialties to add a diverse cheese line. The company also has a minority interest in Mariposa Dairy, a goat cheese manufacturer situated in Eastern Ontario, Canada.
- Swiss Chalet Fine Foods: The company is a nationwide specialty distributor of savory and sweet ingredients to professional kitchens, hotels, restaurants, caterers, universities, and institutions in the United States and abroad.
- De Medici Imports, Ltd.: Established in 1979 as an importer of Badia a Coltibuono, a Tuscan extra virgin olive oil marketed in America, the company offers the specialty food trade with a selection of products from Italy, France, Spain, Argentina, and America.
- KHI: In 2016, this company was acquired by Camerican/Gellert Global Group. KHI started in 1992 and is a large importer of frozen fruit and purees. The company works with about 125 active suppliers in about forty countries.
- We Pack It All: The company specializes in pouch-filling, blister packaging, and bottle-filling of tablets, powders, cereals, and liquids, including other forms of packaging for the nutrition, food, and candy industry.
- Gellfam Management Corporation: Gellfam, via its subsidiary Great Bons, Inc., operates five Cinnabon bakeries, plus one Carvel Express store. The Four Cousins Burgers and Fries operates Five Guys Burgers and Fries restaurants.
- Monarch Seafood: This company is a fresh fish and frozen seafood purveyor in Jersey City, New Jersey.
- Andes Quality: This is a raisin processing plant located at the foothills of the Andes Mountains, in Chile. It is owned by J.F. Braun. The plant processes raisins needed by cereal and food ingredient clients around the world.
Gellert Global Group is partners in different real estate ventures with The Kushner Companies. Kushner is a real estate organization with headquarters in New York. The company's national reach includes about 20,000 multifamily apartments, including 13 million square feet of office, industrial, and retail space available in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, and Illinois.
An addition to the Kushner portfolio is a property on the Brooklyn skyline regarded as the Watchtower. It consists of 830,000 square feet of retail and commercial space. It includes Manhattan properties like 666 Fifth Avenue, The Puck Building, 80-90 Maiden Lane as well as 229 West 43rd Street at Time Square. The company announced plans for three residential towers in Jersey City’s Journal Square and launched a fifty-two-story luxury residential tower at 65 Bay Street on the Hudson River.
Gellert Global Group is an investor in Belvedere Capital Real Estate Partners. It is a private investment firm established in 1994 to own, operate, and invest in real estate. Belvedere Capital, alongside different institutional partners, invested in about 18 million square feet of office, industrial, and retail properties and approximately 2,000 residential apartments.
The company specializes in its primary market, the New York metropolitan area, and includes other major markets in the United States. The group holds interest in Belvedere Capital – Gellert properties like 35 West 81st Street, Printing House, Gateway China, Industry City, 76-80 West 82nd Street, and Belvedere Goshen.
