Fats Waller

Fats Waller, born Thomas Wright Waller, was an American pianist, composer, songwriter, musician, bandleader, and singer known for his work in the jazz genre. He was born on May 21, 1904, in New York City and held citizenship in the United States. Waller attended DeWitt Clinton High School. He received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award during his career.
