Edward Calvin Kendall

Edward Calvin Kendall was born on March 8, 1886, in South Norwalk, Connecticut. He was an American chemist and biochemist known for his work in the United States. Kendall was educated at Norwalk High School in Connecticut, Stamford High School in Connecticut, Columbia University, and Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science. He held citizenship in the United States.

Kendall was awarded the 1950 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his work in the field. He passed away on May 4, 1972, in Princeton, New Jersey.
