Founded by Dr. Mark Prather and Kevin Riddleberger, DispatchHealth was created in 2013. Their intention was to provide excellent, on-demand medical services to people's doorsteps.
DispatchHealth works via a smartphone app, browser, or phone call. After requesting care, DispatchHealth’s board-certified medical teams will arrive. Their medical team is equipped with tools necessary to provide medical care in your home. They can treat a wide range of injuries and illnesses, from common to complex.
They have partnered with the health insurance companies, including Medicare and Medicaid. As of April 1st 2020, they serve 13 states and are not testing patients for COVID-19.
