Cornel Wilde

Cornel Wilde, also known by the aliases Cornelius Louis Wilde, Jefferson Pascal, and Louis Nelius, was a person from Hungary who held United States citizenship. Born on October 13, 1912, Wilde went on to have careers as an actor, film director, screenwriter, and songwriter. He specialized in the Western genre of films.

Wilde received his education at Columbia University, the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and Townsend Harris High School. He passed away in Los Angeles on October 16, 1989. Cornel Wilde had a child who also went on to become an actor, known as Cornel Wilde.
