Context Scout is a company that provides contact information on individuals searched through their web extension. It was founded in 2015 by Andy O’Harney and Marc Sloan. Context Scout aims to develop a web-search engine enhanced with the capability to understand and predict the user’s search intent. Context Scouts is based in London, United Kingdom.

Currently, Context Scout offers its customers with the ability to find the e-mail address associated with the individual that the user is searching for. The company does this through its web browser extension, currently available only on Chrome’s web store. Customers can access their service on a quota basis available monthly, starting at 50 credits for free until 1,000 for its premium customers.

Since 2016, Context Scout has managed to raise £1.4 million in funds through two funding rounds, with its most recent held in 2017. The most recent round was a grant financed by Innovate UK. In total, since its founding year, Context Scout has received capital from three investors: Delin Ventures, Episode 1, and Innovate UK.
