The Clear Blue controller allows users to set up profiles for lighting systems. These schedules can be based off of times of the day, day of the week, whether motion has been sensed, and can manage multiple independent lighting profiles. The controller offers remote control of the schedules and gives users different variables of control.

The built-in communications of Clear Blue's different technologies allow the products to connect to the company's control cloud and software for remote control or management. The communications options include cellular communications, mesh with cellular, or mesh with ethernet, and offers automated connections to the control software for ease of use.

The Clear Blue Controller allows two load ports and up to three low power signal ports, all of which can be independently configured. Each load is individually managed and can be set with multiple light functions, or can be set for security camera and other use cases, such as telecom systems, traffic signs, emergency power, agriculture, weather, and industrial or commercial monitoring loads. These load management systems also offer monitoring and alarm systems. These alarms can be customized and can be used for load alerts or level alerts, depending on the given use case.

The controller and cloud platform offers users customizable alarms and alert notifications. These notifications can be sent to different individuals in a given team depending on the type of alert or event that has occurred. The system is designed so different types of alerts and notification thresholds on a per device and port level. Notifications sent can include alarm date and time, device affected, status of alarm, suggested steps to resolve, and other parameters as needed.

Clear Blue offers an energy-as-a-service subscription service for the provision of clean, wireless power for critical systems such as off-grid streetlights, telecommunications systems, and internet of things devices along with coverage for the power system's management, maintenance, and battery replacement costs. The system includes energy management with forecasting and dynamic battery charging to offer efficient energy management through the service. The service is offered in three tiers, with Basic, Ultra, and Chrome tier levels.
