Clark Terry

Clark Terry (1920-2015) was an American musician, composer, songwriter, and bandleader. Born in St. Louis, Terry was a citizen of the United States. He was educated at Vashon High School and later became a notable figure in the music industry.

Terry's work spanned several genres, including jazz, bebop, swing music, hard bop, crossover jazz, and pop music. Throughout his career, Clark Terry held various occupations such as a composer, songwriter, bandleader, and a musician.

In recognition of his contributions to music, Terry received the prestigious Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. He passed away in Pine Bluff, Arkansas in 2015.
