Chick Corea

Chick Corea (born December 6, 1941, in Chelsea, Massachusetts) was a renowned American pianist, composer, and musician. He was active in the music industry and known for his work in various jazz genres, such as jazz, avant-garde jazz, post-bop, and nu jazz. Chick Corea held American citizenship and was educated at the prestigious Juilliard School and Chelsea High School in Massachusetts.

Over his career, Chick Corea received numerous accolades, including Grammy Awards, Grammy Award for Best Improvised Jazz Solo, and Grammy Award for Best Jazz Instrumental Album. He passed away on February 9, 2021, in the Tampa Bay Area.
