CY Vision

CY Vision is the developer of software-based holographic display technology made to offer augmented reality (AR) experiences that solve problems related to vehicular environments. The Mountain View, California-based company also has an office in Istanbul.

The company is developing 3D AR head-up displays for vehicles. It incorporates real-time, computational holography by turning the windshield into a visible display for information. CY Vision's AR-HUDs operate with cameras, lidar, driver-assist, GPS, and smartphones to develop a visual experience for conventional, electric, and autonomous vehicles.

Some features of the 3D AR-HUD include 3D capability that can perceive multiple visual depth cues. Utilizing binocular disparity and complete motion parallax, it offers 3D holographic images in various weather conditions. The AR display can place different virtual objects varying in distance. It performs under different kinds of lighting, such as snow, irregular rain backgrounds, and sunlight.
