Billy Taylor

Billy Taylor (born July 24, 1921, in Greenville, North Carolina, and died December 28, 2010, in New York City) was an American pianist, composer, and radio personality. Taylor held American citizenship. He was known for his work in the jazz genre.

Taylor received his education at Virginia State University, the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Dunbar High School in Washington, D.C..
