Baxter Ventures is a venture capital firm in Illinois that focuses on investing in companies that develop products to save lives and elevate patient care. Its parent company, Baxter International, was founded 1931 in Deerfield, Illinois. Baxter Ventures was launched in 2011 and invests in seed, series B, series C, debt financing and other venture rounds. Its portfolio companies include Visikol, Peripal, GroundLevel Insights Inc., and Vivet Therapeutics. As of 2022, Baxter Ventures has made 32 investments. Baxter International has had 18 exits, the most notable of which include Ocular Therapeutix and Naurex.
