Avant Garde Innovations is a developer of small form factor and portable wind turbines capable of powering homes, farms, and offices. The company was founded in 2015 by CEO Arun George with the goal of developing affordable and sustainable solutions for renewable energy self-sufficiency and energy empowerment with a distributed and decentralized approach.

The Avatar-I is a portable and small form factor wind turbine, capable of outputting 5 kWh at mean wind speeds of 5.5 m/s, with an axial flux turbine for multi-phase, multi-voltage, and brushless turbines. The turbine is developed to be gearless for no related wear and tear or needed oil changes and is built to be quiet. The turbine is built to work on- or off-grid with rated voltage of 24 volts, 48 volts, or 230 volts in different models.
The turbine is built to survive wind speeds as high as 60m/s while it will start up at wind speeds of 1.4 m/s. It is built to face the wind automatically, is bird friendly with highly visible paint that glows in the dark, is capable of working with other power generation systems, such as solar power, and is designed to offer climatic resistance in marine, snow, and desert areas. These turbines have been used at the Leh-Ladakh Indian Army Base, the Kochi Indian Naval Base, and at the HUL Dapada Unilever commercial building. They are designed to work in B2G, B2B, and B2C installations for commercial, residential, and farm installations.
