Atlanta Ventures is a venture capital firm headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. It was founded in 2012 by Atlanta tech entrepreneur David Cummings. The firm invest early stage capital in subscription based companies located in the Southeastern United States.
The firm four primary criteria that must be met before it will invest in a portfolio company. Potential companies must have less than $1 million in recurring annual revenue, less that $1 million in previous capital raised, it must be looking to raise less than $1 million, and have more than 10 subscribers.Atlanta Ventures generally invests between $250,000 to $1 million in potential companies.
In 2018, Atlanta Ventures launched Studio, an incubator program that aims to help entrepreneurs build a business from the ground up. The program provides capital investment, office space in Atlanta, general business support services such as sales, marketing, legal, hiring, and branding services, as well as business growth consulting.
Atlanta Ventures also hosts entrepreneur networking events and promotes entrepreneurship through its production of digital media content.
