Astral Capital is a Massachusetts based venture capital firm investing in early-stage software companies who are known to have grown without vast sums of equity. The firm focuses on technology companies, healthcare services, Augmented Reality, B2B, and Ed-Tech. Jon Karlen founded the firm in 2016. Before launching Astral Capital fund, Jon has worked with venture capital firms like Flybridge Capital Partners and Accomplice (previously Atlas Venture). Astral capital raised $48.9 million in its initial investor round with 51 investors. As of 2019, the firm has invested in two companies, Klaviyo and Pillpack.
