Archanan

Archanan is a Singapore based technology company providing high-performance computing services for scientific software development and analysis. Archanan aims to create an accessible cloud-based supercomputing platform for scientists at 1/10th of the current cost of renting supercomputers.

Archanan provides a scalable computing environment for high-performance computing (HPC) development requirements like drug discovery, autonomous cars, aerospace engineering, quantum computing, and large scale design projects. Archanan uses cloud infrastructure virtualization and a web-based interface to manage the development environment. Network level virtualization lets developers test multiple types of network topology, bandwidth, and medium to fine-tune their code and application. The platform also provides a suite of tools for scientists for testing, debugging, profiling, and memory mapping analysis.

Conventional HPC development requires users to engineer software on local workstations and deploy it on supercomputers for operation. Archanan tries to eliminate port-over failures between varying computing environment from engineering to deployment by allowing developers to code on large-scale systems from the start. The platform allows separation of production resource and debugging with parallel debugging allowing complete computing resource to be used for the production system. Multiple user level Integrated Development Environments can be used for development, testing, and collaboration.

Alex Nodeland and Lukasz Orlowski founded the company in 2018 and is headquartered in Central Region, Singapore.
