Anne Applebaum

Anne Applebaum, born Anne Elizabeth Applebaum on July 25, 1964, is a writer, historian, journalist, and columnist. She was born in Washington, D.C., United States, and holds dual citizenship in the United States and Poland.

Applebaum has received education in various prestigious institutions. She studied at Yale University and continued her education at St Antony's College, Oxford. She also attended the London School of Economics.

"Gulag: A History" is one of her notable works. Currently, she resides in Washington.
