American University of Armenia

The American University of Armenia (AUA) is a private higher education institution located in Yerevan, Armenia. The university was founded in 1991 and is also known by its Armenian name, Հայաստանի Ամերիկյան Համալսարանի. AUA is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of the Republic of Armenia. The university is affiliated with the University of California and the Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region.
