Youssef Chahine

Youssef Chahine (born January 25, 1926, in Alexandria, Egypt, and died on July 27, 2008, in Cairo) was a prominent Egyptian actor, film director, screenwriter, and film producer. Hailing from Egypt, Youssef Chahine primarily made a significant contribution to the Egyptian film industry and to the filmographies of the world.
