William Howitt

William Howitt (born 18 December 1792) was a poet, historian, and writer from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. He was born in Derbyshire and was educated at Ackworth School. Throughout his life, Howitt pursued various occupations including being a well-known poet, historian, and writer. He passed away on 3 March 1879 in Rome and is remembered as an influential figure in literature and history.
