Watermelon Slim, born as William P. Homans III on January 1, 1949, is a musician from the United States of America. He was born in Boston and is known for his work in the Americana music genre. Slim has held various occupations in the music industry, including singer, guitarist, and musician.

Throughout his life, Watermelon Slim received education from several reputable institutions. He attended Lenox School for Boys, University of Oregon, Middlebury College, and Oklahoma State University–Stillwater.
