Uncle Dave Macon

Uncle Dave Macon, born David Harrison Macon, was an American musician, songwriter, and singer. He was born on July 10, 1870, in Tennessee, and held citizenship in the United States. Macon was educated at Hume-Fogg High School. He was known as Dixie Dewdrop, a pseudonym under which he sometimes performed and recorded music.

Macon passed away on March 22, 1952, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
