Tsing Capital - also known as Qingyun Chuang Tou - is the private equity and venture capital subsidiary of Tsinghua Holdings Co. It is headquartered in Beijing, China. It has been in operations since 2000. The firm specializes in funding companies operating in the clean technology sector worldwide, at the growth stage. Despite that, within the clean technology category, Tsing Capital tends to prefer to invest in companies developing products and services in the following sectors: advanced manufacturing, sustainable mobility, sustainable agriculture, and future cities. As of January 2018, Tsing Capital has 39 active companies in its portfolio and has sold its stakes in 25 companies.
