Trey Block

Trey Block is the Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Block previously worked as Chief Financial Officer at Aquiline Capital Partners LLC. Mr. Block originally joined OrbiMed in 2015 and served as Controller until 2017. Prior to OrbiMed, he worked as an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan in its Private Equity and Real Estate Services Group, as Chief Financial Officer of his family business, Ideal Chemical & Supply Company, and as Principal at The Carlyle Group, where he was responsible for the fund administration of Carlyle’s European buyout and technology funds. Mr. Block started his career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen LLP and Ernst & Young LLP. He received a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from Washington and Lee University.
