Trawire

Trawire is a family-owned business based in Mosfellsbær, Iceland.

Trawire was founded in 2012 by the Pedersen family. Following the Pedersen family's return to Iceland in 2008 after a six-year stay in Denmark, their children, Tómas Leó and Selma Lind, exhibited unexpected social and behavioral challenges. Eventually diagnosed with Atypical Autism and Asperger Syndrome respectively, the children found solace and means of expression in digital technology, particularly with the advent of iPhone and iPad.

The marked improvement in the children's condition by 2012 led to the conception of Trawire. The company's business model not only includes the rental of digital devices such as modems and tablets but also contributes to Autism support. The Pedersens, combining their respective experiences and skills, have developed Trawire to incorporate innovative features such as a booking system, a QR code voucher system, and a convenient device pickup and return mechanism.
