Thomas Cech

Thomas Cech is an American biochemist and chemist born on December 8, 1947, in Chicago. He holds United States citizenship and currently resides in the United States. Cech was educated at Grinnell College and later at the University of California, Berkeley. In recognition of his work, he received the 1989 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
